My name is William Marcus - a biomedical engineer specializing in neuro engineering and prototyping.

I’m currently available for work.

I recently graduated with a Master’s in Computational Biomedical engineering at Carnegie Mellon with a specialty in neuroengineering. I have spent several years in prototyping, signal analysis, electronic design, and business development. My passion is for interfacing with the brain and hope to one day be part of a cure for Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Neuro engineering

Founder and President of Tartan Neurotech, Carnegie Mellon’s premier neuro engineering student organization focused on project development, outreach, and professional development. Former intern for Lewis Katz school of medicine as a Brain-Computer Interface researcher.

Prototyping

Former CTO of Aeropest, LLC developing novel approaches to pest control and drone augmentation, and partner with Medtronic developing surgical devices, sensor integration, and more.

Engineering Design

Conducted numerous projects affiliated with the Tartan Neurotech club, Mechanical Engineering department, and the Robotics club - including redesign of power tools, development of autonomous buggy systems, and more.

Today, I continue work in computational biomedical engineering with projects in EEG signal analysis, prototyping, wearable sensors and functional props.

If I’m not working on a new project, you’ll find me out taking a walk enjoying the rare greenery around Pittsburgh, reading a book at the local cafés, or catching up with old friends over a game or a meal.
